Otaki 1/12 scale plastic model kit #6 (OT3-58)
Manufacturered around 1980
Non-motorized plastic model. Otaki only made these large, 1:12 scale models for a few years, so they are quite rare. Otaki went out of business in 1980, the same year that HobbyTown first opened.
Model is unassembled, unpainted, and complete. Box has been opened but is in good shape. Original HobbyTown price tag still attached from what was the original (and at the time, still the only) HobbyTown store. Instructions and decals are included. All plastic parts are still attached to their trees and sealed inside original plastic bags. This model is in absolutely mint, untouched condition. Model is sold as-is; no refunds.
I bought this kit new as a youngster, but lost interest before I got around to assembling it. I'm finally cleaning house. I loved Mustangs and hate to let such a beautiful model go, but I don't have time to assemble it or space to display the finished product.
Asking $250 or best offer. That's about what these big Otaki models
sell for on eBay.
Watch for my other plastic model sales. I'll combine shipping if one
buyer takes multiple models. Box is 23.5" x 16.875" x 4".
The closest size shipping box I have is 27" x 21.5" x 9.75".
